Page hijacking

Page hijacking (also called page jacking or hijack) is a technique spamdexing to steal the positions of other sites on search engines. Affected sites are often popular sites with heavy traffic and numerous pages. It was translated into French by "misuse of the page.

How can you steal the position of one of its competitors on google?

The method is simple, it involves creating a site with similar content than your competitor. Titles, meta tag, content, images, only links intern change.
This page jacking technique is possible thanks to the "copy content" for Google, which aims to remove all pages of similar content.
The engine chosen one of two pages and place second in the "similar pages" (not displayed in search results).
This is of course possible that with a sufficient number of pages because Google will not replace all the pages.

302 Google Jacking:

The 302 redirect (temporary redirection) can also be used when creating pages of hijacking. The goal is to convince Google that the page no longer exists and has been temporarily moved to another URL.
A good example can be a directory that uses 302 redirects on links to sites that reference. In this case the pages of redirects can appear in Google.
